Foreign Secretary invites questions on Afghanistan via Twitter

In advance of discussions on Afghanistan at the NATO Summit in Chicago on 20-21 May, Foreign Secretary William Hague will answer questions about the UK's policy towards Afghanistan via Twitter on Thursday 17 May.

Foreign Secretary William Hague commended all sides for their role in finding a solution which prevents loss of life after Palestinian prisoners agreed to end their hunger strike.

A WWII P40 Kittyhawk fighter aircraft of the British Royal Air Force has recently been found in the Western Desert of Egypt almost intact.

Speaking after EU Foreign Ministers agreed further sanctions, the Foreign Secretary William Hague said as long as violence continued, the UK would continue to increase pressure on the regime.
